Meet the Teacher

Welcome to Hillcrest!  My name is Lori Ryan  I am a graduate of Edinboro University and I am beginning my 25th  year of teaching.  I will be teaching your child ELA for this upcoming school year.  

 

My husband and I live in the North Huntingdon area with our two boys, Michael and Nolan.  Michael will be a sophomore in college this year, and Nolan will be headed to the tenth grade.  Our boys keep us very busy with sports, especially baseball.  When I'm not at a field, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out at the gym, and shopping.  I'm always on the lookout for collecting anything with lady bugs!  

 

I'm looking forward to a year of learning, a love for reading and lasting memories for fifth grade.
