Meet The Teacher

 

 

     I earned my teaching degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I also earned my Master's in Education from IUP.  I have been teaching at Norwin for 12 years. For the first 11 years, I taught at Hahntown Elementary School.  I am very excited to move up to Hillcrest.

 

 

 

     In my spare time, I love to do things with my family.  My wife (Dr. Dawn Smith) is a member of the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh (H2P).  I have three kids:  Xander, Carter, and Emerson.  And I can't forget about our black lab, Lucy!! 

     I am typically at a sporting event or spending time at Pymatuning Lake.  I love to get away as much as possible and relax.  One day I plan to retire to the beach...but that is a far away dream right now.
