What the kids will do in chorus!

This past summer, I went to a music workshop in Texas and found new materials and new songs to teach my students!  In chorus, they will be singing fun vocal warm-ups that teach various music skills, learn good vocal health technique, get better at sight reading melodies and rhythms, get better at reading music, learn a wide variety of music vocabulary through singing and movement, and sing various styles of music!  The kids will need to bring their iPads with them to chorus every time. 

 

The 6th grade chorus students will honor the Veterans with a program on Friday, November 11th.  Their 6th grade spring chorus concert will be on Thursday, May 18th, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Intermediate School. They do not have a winter/holiday concert. 

 

The 5th grade chorus students will participate in a winter chorus concert/musical entitled "Star Bucks" on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Intermediate School.  They do not have a spring concert.
