About Mrs. Duncan

My Life Before Teaching

 

I grew up in Duncansville, Pennsylvania.

I went to Hollidaysburgh High School.

 

At Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I started as a computer science major, but really wanted to teach.  I changed my major and graduated with an Elementary of Education degree.

 

In 2004 I was hired by Norwin School District as the Gifted Teacher for K-4.  Two years later, I moved to Hillcrest and have taught here ever since.  I have taught math, accelerated math, and science.

 

My husband, John, graduated from Norwin, as have my son and daughter.
