Mandated Screenings
School nurses will perform State mandated health screenings annually according to the following schedule:
- Height and Weight - all students
- Vision Screening- all students distance and near
- Depth perception, far sightedness and color screening done on 1st grade students
- Hearing Screening - Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 7 and 11
- Physical Exam -Grades K, 6, 11, or on original entry (Private physician encouraged)
- Dental Exam - Grades K, 3, 7, or on original entry (Private dentist encouraged)
- Scoliosis Screening- Grades 6 and 7 (private physician encouraged)
